Quality of Life
Lee County is a great place to live and work. A mild climate and rural setting offer an ideal location to raise a family away from the hustle, traffic and congestion of a big city.
Lee County's natural beauty lends itself to a variety of outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, canoeing and hunting. Lee County's proximity to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Columbia, Florence and Charlotte makes it an ideal place to live and do business.
The lifestyle in Lee County is due in part to such places and events as Pearl Fryar's Topiary Garden, The Opera House, South Carolina Cotton Museum, Lee State Natural Area, The South Carolina Quilt Show, Lynches River Festival, Lynchburg's Magnolia Festival, Lee County Cotton Festival and Ashwood Lake.
